Transportation Options
1. Park near Tollefson Plaza in Downtown Tacoma (Finish Line). Shuttle Buses depart at 5:15 AM. Last Bus from Tollefson Plaza leaves at 6:30 AM. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST BUS.

2. Park at the start on either side of the street on 26th Avenue along side the airport. Shuttle buses will be running from the Finish (Downtown Tacoma) back to the Start line beginning at 10:00 AM. There is no cost to take the bus back to Tacoma Narrows Airport. There is plenty of parking at the Tacoma Narrows Airport (start location for 2010)
3. Carpool with a friend to the Start line (Tacoma Narrows Airport). There is a toll fee to come East on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. The cost is $4.00 per car. DO NOT GET ON THE 24TH STREET ON RAMP TO CROSS THE NARROWS BRIDGE, THERE IS NO TOLL BOOTH THERE AND PHOTO ENFORCEMENT WILL TICKET YOU. Please follow this route to go through the toll booth to cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Click HERE for directions.
Gear Check will be available at the start. Look for the school bus near the start line inside the airport.
A shuttle bus will begin making round trips from Tollefson Plaza to the Tacoma Narrows Airport beginning at 10:00 AM. |
